Where the Buck Stops

. . . .known as Rick by most everyone, started his career in public accounting at the age of 18, in 1962, less than a year out of high school, and was supervising college graduates in Georgia's oldest full time CPA firm within 3 months. He passed the Uniform CPA exam in 1967, and subsequently graduated with a B.S. in Accounting from Metropolitan State College, Denver, Colorado. Rick is certified in Georgia, Colorado, and Florida. He has been a partner in several local CPA firms in Georgia and Florida, as well as a local office Audit Department Coordinating Partner and the National Director of Business Advisory Services for a 65 office National firm headquartered in the West. He served as Chief Financial Officer for a $33 million oil and gas exploration and production company for three years. He has been owner and principal of his own CPA firm for over 23 years, having started in Florida, then moving to Blue Ridge, Georgia in 1993, where he has operated his firm since.

Rick is highly skilled and trained in QuickBooks and other accounting and tax software packages the firm uses to facilitate providing our "C P A" services. He is also a QuickBooks Certified Pro Advisor, and a PlanGuru Pro

Advisor.

A member of the American Institute of CPAs for over 40 years, Rick has served on numerous professional committees nationally and state-wide, including the committee that drafted the original Standards for Compilation and Review engagements in the United States. He has been a highly rated lecturer and instructor of Continuing Education classes for CPAs.
